One answer for many questions

Why would anybody hate someone because of their belief in God?
Why would anybody judge someone based on the color of their skin or their sexual orientation?
Why would anybody hate or judge someone, period?
Why would anybody destroy the life of someone who is different or disagrees?
Why would anybody destroy a life, period?
Why are people in such a hurry to get places that they put others and themselves at risk?
Why won’t people pause long enough to enjoy a sunset?
Why won’t people take the time to hug the people they love?
     Why won’t people simply love?
Why do people believe the only way to get ahead is by stepping on others?
Why won’t people forgive those who have hurt them?
Why can’t people enjoy sports without becoming angry?
Why can’t people accept diversity in the world and appreciate that each of us is unique?
Why don’t people respect authority and follow rules and laws that are in place to protect everyone?
     Why can’t people be kind?
Why don’t people listen more and talk less?
Why don’t people help others in need?
Why don’t people recognize when others are lonely?
Why don’t we learn from history?
Why don’t we learn from our own mistakes?
Why do we have to ask these same questions?
Why don’t people listen to God?
If we find the answer to the last question and address it, all the other problems in the world also will be solved.

  1. Your "last line" comment is overly simplistic and ridiculous. In the minds of many folks... But NOT in mine! True as it is... the likely hood of it happening are very low. However I hold that basic Christian principals are nothing other then common sense and respect for our fellowmen. When these reciprocate it works. Even an atheist will be advantaged by honoring these basic principals. This will seem foreign to the present "me first, RESPECT ME!" generation.
